About September
Dr. Payne is Co-Founder and Co-Administrator of San Diego Coastal Flutes, Founder of Music West Flute Studio, and a freelance performer under the American Federation of Musicians San Diego Chapter.
In the summers, September is flute faculty and performs with the CICA International Orchestral and Chamber Music Festival in Dallas, TX.  Former positions include: San Diego State University, Grossmont and Mesa Colleges’ Adjunct Professor of Flute and Music History Lecturer; San Diego.
